Psoriasis is one the very chronic skin disorders, which affects about 25% of the world population and it is said to be it is on an increase from year by year. Psoriasis patient leading a healthy life is a huge task. Psoriasis can cause an immense negative impact on his life, emotionally, psychologically and at the physical level. Emotional level, it can cause depression, lack of confidence, lack of self-esteem, anxiety, fear and a lot of social stigmas. Psychologically it affects to a great extent. It can cause suicidal thoughts and it is said that around 25% of the Psoriatic patients have these thoughts and 5% attempt suicide. At the physical level, it can cause immense pain, disability, scaling, the spread of the lesions etc. So the lack of control of the disease is one of the main reasons which will affect the health-related quality of all the psoriatic patients.
